Submission Guidelines
- Be accurate, well researched, and engaging.
- Appeal to MDHA members and deer hunters.
- Include correct names, dates, and facts.
- Provide source/contact information when applicable.
- Include quality photos whenever possible.
Photo Requirements
- High-resolution images only.
- Minimum 300 DPI recommended.
- Electronic submissions preferred.
Article Length & Compensation
Standard Articles: 600–1,000 words, typically 1+ magazine page, includes photos.
Compensation: $300 per published submission
Feature Articles: 1,200–1,800 words, typically 2–3 magazine pages, includes photos.
Compensation available upon publication
